Camp Tower

Memorial to Political Repressions
A 15-meter black steel tower that creates a zone of discomfort by design. The memorial square at its base is a large funnel prism filled with stones — each representing ten thousand victims of political repression. A second variant, developed with sculptor Igor Shelkovsky, takes the form of a human head built from brick. Architecture as an act of refusal to let memory be comfortable.
